That’s right folks, WordPress 3.0 is finally here. Now I can finally streamline my portfolio site and more importantly develop my new design for this site; meaning I can finally do things that I have wanted for a long time to this site.

It’s been a little quite around here lately, and that’s due to various reasons that I will not go into now, apart to say that I’ve been working on another personal site of mine that is nearly complete, say for a few tweaks here and there. This is a very quick update just to say that I’m not dead, I’m not planning on kicking the bucket any time soon, and I’m working very hard on making this my ‘personal site’ as opposed to all the bits of web development and design stuff I have been posting lately.

Look for a new update sometime in the new year. oh, and Happy Holidays! It had to be said.
Ta ta for now.

Human Curling

Lately, I have been having trouble with earphones; more specifically iPod earphones. My first set lasted about three months then the sound in the left ear decided to go mute, so I bought a second pair which cost £20. They have now gone muffled in the right ear, meaning I have to by another pair. This time there not going to be made by apple.

What I’m complaining about isn’t the crappy life of the supposed “quality” product that apple claims the earphones are but about the fact that shops decide to put there audio accessories next to the same place were people are lining up. This of course makes it almost impossible to get to them. And with Christmas a few weeks away the high street is more packed than a tin of sardines.

Also, whilst walking around the newly developed city centre; I noticed that it is more safe to walk on the same road as the huge vehicles they call buses because there’s more grip there than on the paths your supposed to walk on. The path slabs are so smooth that it would be more safe if the council installed ice for the public to walk on. It’s fine when it’s dry, but when it’s been raining; it’s a death trap. Seriously, it’s good that your close to shops so you can buy a broom; this means you can sweep the path in front of you and slide yourself to where you want to go, making you a human curling stone; at least then your get home quicker than you would safely walking home.

Sometimes, I see the real advantages of shopping online; your not going to get wet and you sure as hell aren’t gonna get hit by a bus.
